Description SY FLORIAN
SY FLORIAN — a medium-maturing winter rapeseed hybrid developed by Syngenta, with high yield potential up to 50 centners per hectare and oil content exceeding 46%. The plants are characterized by medium height and rapid autumn development, which contributes to successful adaptation and good growth under various climatic conditions. The hybrid exhibits high winter hardiness, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine, as well as in Belarusian regions. SY FLORIAN shows resistance to major rapeseed diseases, such as phomopsis, sclerotinia, and turnip yellow mosaic virus (TuYV). This reduces the risk of yield loss and enhances production stability. Moreover, the hybrid has low glucosinolate levels, which improves the quality of oil and food products derived from rapeseed. The recommended seeding rate is 450–600 thousand plants per hectare, ensuring optimal land use and maximum crop productivity. SY FLORIAN is suitable for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones, making it a versatile solution for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality rapeseed yields with good oil content and resistance to adverse factors.
