Rapeseed Symphony

Reliable rapeseed variety for consistent performance

The «Symphony» (Symfonia) rapeseed variety is a selective breeding outcome from the Precarpathian State Agricultural Experimental Station of NAAS. Developed specifically for the diverse soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine, this variety is engineered to provide agronomic stability and predictable yields, which is a critical factor for large-scale production.

Practical application in the field

• Winter hardiness: The variety exhibits superior adaptation to shifting climate patterns, ensuring a high survival rate after winter and reducing the need for spring reseeding.
• Harvesting efficiency: With strong stalk development and resistance to lodging, «Symphony» is well-suited for modern harvesting equipment, allowing for cleaner collection with minimized seed shatter losses.
• Resource response: The variety responds effectively to standard mineral fertilization protocols. It is designed to maximize biomass development during the early spring vegetative growth phase, which provides a natural competitive edge against weeds.

Choosing «Symphony» means opting for a variety that balances yield potential with ease of management. It is particularly effective in integrated farming systems where optimizing input costs while maintaining a high oil content is the primary goal. Practical field experience shows that this variety performs exceptionally well when consistent pre-sowing treatment and timely insecticide applications are performed, ensuring a stress-free transition through critical growth stages.
