Rapeseed Saxon

The hybrid rapeseed SAXON is a mid-early maturing variety with high productivity potential and adaptability to various climatic conditions. It features uniform ripening, resistance to lodging, and good tolerance to sharp temperature fluctuations and dry periods. Plant height ranges from 95 to 118 cm, with a potential yield of 6.0 t/ha. Oil content in seeds is 45.5–46.6 %, and glucosinolate levels are 0.8–0.85 %.

SAXON exhibits intensive spring growth and high resistance to major diseases and pests, ensuring stable yields. Recommended agronomic parameters include row spacing of 15 cm, sowing depth of 2–4 cm, and plant density at harvest of 350–550 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid demonstrates plasticity to sowing dates and environmental conditions, making it versatile for various cultivation regions.

To enhance yield and product quality, the growth stimulator Regoplant is recommended, which helps alleviate stress after herbicide application and improves pollination by increasing pollen release. Optimal planting density is 55–60 thousand plants per hectare. SAXON has a well-developed root system and strong stems, ensuring high resistance to lodging and competitive ability against weeds in early growth stages.
