Raps Triathlon — this is a late winter hybrid of German selection Lembke, designed for stable and high-yield cultivation in various climatic conditions of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. The hybrid features very fast and dynamic development in the autumn period, ensuring good grain set and high winter hardiness at the 9-point level. Plants reach a height of 175-185 cm and are characterized by a medium-late maturity, allowing successful use of the hybrid at optimal and late sowing times. The yield potential under production conditions reaches 55-65 centners/ha, confirming its high productivity.

One of the key features of Triathlon is its high resistance to stress factors, including drought and lodging, as well as genetic resistance to major rapeseed diseases. The hybrid carries the Rlm7 gene, providing resistance to stem base rot, and is tolerant to verticillium and turnip yellow mosaic virus (TuYV). In addition, Triathlon exhibits high resistance to pod cracking, which reduces yield losses during harvest. Oil content in seeds is approximately 46.7%, and glucosinolate levels do not exceed 15 mmol/g, making the product high-quality and in-demand.

To achieve maximum yield, classical cultivation technology with an adaptive approach to fertilizer and growth regulator dosing is recommended. The optimal seeding rate is 450-500 thousand seeds per hectare at optimal sowing times and 500-550 thousand at late sowing. Rapeseed responds well to nitrogen application and growth regulator treatments in autumn and spring, promoting intensive biomass formation and rapid vegetation recovery. The hybrid adapts to various soil types, including loamy and clay soils, and is suitable for cultivation under both adequate and unstable moisture conditions.
