Rapeseed Sveta

A reliable choice for the Ukrainian climate

The spring rapeseed variety 'Sveta' is the result of breeding work by the Ivano-Frankivsk Institute of Agro-Industrial Production of the NAAS of Ukraine. The variety was developed for intensive farming, where adaptability to fluctuating weather conditions in regions with moderate moisture is a key factor.

Agronomic Profile

Unlike imported hybrids, 'Sveta' is a classic breeding variety. This makes it attractive for farms aiming to reduce seed costs while maintaining control over crop quality. The variety’s primary specialization is the production of oilseeds with a high fat and protein content, making it highly valued in the food and processing industries.

• Biological stability: The variety demonstrates good tolerance to spring temperature fluctuations.
• Adaptability: It has proven itself well on soils with varying levels of fertility, which expands its cultivation geography.
• Technological efficiency: Uniform maturation simplifies the harvesting process, minimizing field losses.

Historically, 'Sveta' remains a reliable tool for farmers who prefer predictable results. It is chosen for crop rotations where a balance between good yield and lodging resistance is essential. This is a classic example of Ukrainian breeding, verified through years of practice on fields across various regions of Ukraine.
