Odiла — is a winter rape variety of Czech selection, tested in competitive and production trials. The trials revealed advantages of heterosis hybrids of winter rape, but specifically, the Odiла variety did not surpass the domestic DanGal variety in yield under production conditions. This indicates that competitive trial results do not always fully reflect the variety's production efficiency.
In production trials, the highest yields were shown by hybrids Vsesvit Fb Zapalny, G-3 Fi, and G-4 F1t. These hybrids demonstrate stable high yields over several years and are well-adapted to the agroclimatic conditions of the Ukrainian Forest-Steppe zone. Compared to them, the Odiла variety does not demonstrate such high performance, which is important to consider when selecting a variety for cultivation.
Thus, the Odiла variety represents a winter rape option with certain advantages, but it lags behind some modern hybrids in yield, which are better adapted to local conditions and ensure stable high yields. Variety selection should be based on specific agroclimatic conditions and production goals.
