Rapeseed ORC 10

Focusing on phytosanitary security

Choosing "ORK 10" winter rapeseed means prioritizing reduced fungicide reliance in your operations. Developed through a collaboration between the VNIIMK Research Center and Chinese breeders (Jinghaisilu), this hybrid focuses its genetic potential on protecting against soil-borne pathogens. The primary challenge addressed by this hybrid is the control of Rhizoctonia and various rot types, which frequently lead to poor crop establishment after overwintering.

Agronomic Advantages

• Soil Protection: Genetic resistance to wireworms eliminates the need for aggressive, high-dosage insecticidal seed treatments, thereby reducing the pesticide load on the soil.
• Stability Against Infection Pressure: The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to Rhizoctonia. For agronomists, this translates into reduced expenditure on autumn foliar fungicide applications.
• Regional Adaptation: The hybrid's foundation in Russian breeding ensures predictable performance under local climatic conditions, which is crucial for successfully reaching the rosette stage before entering winter dormancy.

"ORK 10" is the preferred choice for farms targeting stable yields on fields with high infectious pressure, where traditional rapeseed varieties are prone to root rot. Utilizing this hybrid allows for the optimization of your technological map: thanks to its high resistance to wireworms, you ensure more uniform emergence without unnecessary expenditure on soil insecticides.
