Description Orlando
Orlando F1 sweet corn is a high-yielding, mid-season SH2 hybrid with a vegetation period of 78-82 days. This hybrid is distinguished by its high sugar content in the kernels — over 22% — which ensures excellent taste qualities and makes it popular for marketing, processing, and fresh consumption. The ears have a bright yellow color and a semi-cylindrical shape, with ear lengths exceeding 24 cm, contributing to high marketable yield.

Orlando demonstrates resistance to stressful growing conditions, including drought and heat, as well as strong immunity to most diseases typical for corn. The seeds are treated with modern fungicides Maxim XL and Vitavax 200FF for protection against fungal diseases, as well as with Radix Perfecta technology based on EM-technology, which further enhances resistance to adverse factors. High drought and heat tolerance, along with stable yields, make this hybrid a reliable choice for various climatic conditions.

For planting, the recommended seeding rate is 55-65 thousand plants per hectare at soil temperatures not lower than +12°C and planting depth of 2-5 cm. When agronomic requirements are met, Orlando ensures yields of 30-40 thousand ears per hectare. The hybrid is characterized by good preservation during transport and storage, making it convenient for commercial use and processing.
