Modelini Lux

Modelini Lux is a medium-maturing winter rapeseed variety intended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polissia regions. This variety is characterized by high drought and low winter temperature resistance, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of approximately 165-176 cm and form 8-10 branches resistant to lodging, which helps preserve the quality and quantity of the harvest. The vegetation period lasts about 278-280 days, allowing optimal results with proper agronomic practices.

Modelini Lux is distinguished by high yield potential, reaching over 55 centners per hectare, and in some cases up to 6.0 tons per hectare. The rapeseed has high oil content — around 46% — making it an excellent raw material for producing vegetable oil and meal. Pods are 8-10 cm long, containing 25-31 black seeds of proper spherical shape. The recommended seeding rate varies depending on the sowing time: from 0.8 to 1.5 million seeds per hectare, with an optimal rate of about 1.0-1.2 million seeds.

Seed treatment includes the use of fungicides for disease protection. The variety is resistant to shattering, lodging, and certain pests, which reduces losses during harvest and improves raw material quality. Due to its characteristics, Modelini Lux is a reliable choice for farmers focused on producing high-quality rapeseed oil and meal under Ukrainian conditions.
