Rapeseed LG AKERMAN

Stability and Phytosanitary Control

For agronomists operating in regions with high infection pressure, the winter oilseed rape hybrid LG Ackerman from Limagrain acts as a robust risk management tool. French breeding expertise focuses on strong genetic resistance to major pathogens, allowing farmers to reduce chemical intervention costs without compromising crop safety.

Field Performance and Agrotechnics

This simple line hybrid is valued for its plasticity, making it an excellent choice for intensive cultivation systems. The plant height of 90–100 cm is highly convenient for modern harvesting machinery, ensuring minimal seed loss during combine operations.

• Seeding Density: A recommended density of 400,000 to 500,000 seeds per hectare provides flexibility in adjusting sowing dates based on regional climate requirements.
• Genetic Resistance: Built-in protection against Verticillium, Phoma, and Cylindrosporium helps prevent lodging and premature ripening caused by fungal diseases.
• Economic Efficiency: With a yield potential of 4–5 tonnes/ha and an oil content of 20–25%, this hybrid provides reliable profitability for commercial grain production.

Field experience confirms that LG Ackerman performs best on well-managed soils where it can maximize its tillering potential. Its consistency and reliability allow for precise yield planning, even in seasons with volatile moisture levels.
