Solar CL is an early-maturing hybrid of spring rapeseed (Brassica napus var. napus), developed for cultivation under the Clearfield® system. It is registered in the State Register of Selection Achievements in several regions of Russia, including the Northwestern, Central, Central Chernozem, Volga, and East Siberian regions. The hybrid exhibits high drought resistance (5 out of 6 points), lodging resistance (5.0 points), and shattering resistance (4.3 points), ensuring stable yields even under adverse climatic conditions. The oil content in seeds is 43.9%, which is 2.5% higher than standard levels, positively impacting the quality of the oil obtained.
In terms of maturity group, Solar CL belongs to the medium-early maturing category with spring vegetative renewal and mid-late flowering. Sowing periods vary from medium-early to medium-late, allowing flexible adaptation of agronomy to specific regional conditions. The hybrid belongs to type 00 (non-shattering), characterizing it as a high-quality variety with improved oil technological properties.
