Rapeseed EC NEKTAR

Winter Rapeseed EC Nectar: High-Quality Oilseed Production

For agricultural producers focusing on reliable yields and premium oil quality, the EC Nectar hybrid from the French breeder Lidea is a strategic asset. Standing at a height of 150–160 cm with moderate branching, this hybrid exhibits excellent lodging resistance, ensuring efficiency during large-scale mechanical harvesting.

Quality Parameters for Processing

The standout feature of EC Nectar is its biochemical profile. With an oil content reaching 50–55%, it is highly favored by crushing plants. The low erucic acid content and a glucosinolate level of 9–10 мМоль ensure the harvested crop meets stringent industrial and export standards, allowing growers to secure premium-price contracts.

Agronomic Management and Performance

With a yield potential of 20–30 c/ha, EC Nectar is designed for growers employing intensive cultivation practices. The crop responds exceptionally well to optimized nitrogen application and rigorous pest management throughout the growing season. Its genetic background, developed by Lidea in France, allows the plant to manage water and nutrient resources effectively, even under mild environmental stress.
