Cotyledons are medium in width and length. Leaf margins are moderately serrated, with lobes present. Leaf is medium in length and width. Plant height is medium. Flower petal color is yellow. Pod is long with a short tooth and medium stem. Early flowering. Tendency to form inflorescence in late-spring sowing is absent or very weak.
Average seed yield on state variety testing stations: in the Forest-Steppe zone — 22.8 centners/ha, in the Polissia region — 25.3 centners/ha.
Variety Aydar belongs to type "00" with erucic acid content of 0.2-0.1% and glucosinolates — up to 0.8-0.7%. Oil content in seeds is 45.1-46.2%, protein — 22.6-21.8%. Resistance to lodging — 9 points, to shattering — 8 points, to drought — 8 points. Resistance to diseases — 9 points, resistance to damage by rapeseed flower beetle is above average.
