Dobrava

Dobrava — a mid-early hybrid of winter rapeseed of the non-erucic acid type, possessing high yield potential, reaching up to 69.5 c/ha. This hybrid is adapted for cultivation in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe zones and is recommended for sowing on fields with medium to high agrofond after early crops such as annual forage grasses, early potatoes, and grain legumes. In crop rotation, rapeseed can be sown 3–4 years after the previous crop, and any cereal crop can follow rapeseed. The plant is of medium height with a strong stem resistant to lodging, ensuring stable yields.

The Dobrava hybrid is characterized by rapid development in the early stages of vegetation and good winter hardiness due to resistance to elongation of the root neck. In spring, the plant forms numerous productive branches with pods resistant to cracking, significantly reducing yield losses. Seeds contain a high oil content — from 47 to 50%, with glucosinolate levels not exceeding 16 mmol/g and no erucic acid present, making the product ecologically clean and safe.

The seeds of the Dobrava hybrid have high germination energy and uniformity — 97%, ensuring good germination and uniform crop development. The recommended seeding rate is 500,000 seeds per hectare. The hybrid is marketed under the Limagrain brand, seed class — elite, harvest year 2024. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, Dobrava is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality rapeseed yields.
