Rapeseed Executive is a high-yielding mid-season winter rapeseed hybrid developed for conventional cultivation technology. It is characterized by high plasticity and adaptability, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions, including Western and Central-Eastern parts of Ukraine. The hybrid exhibits very high winter hardiness and enhanced drought tolerance, enabling it to successfully withstand adverse weather conditions. Recommended sowing periods range from early to late August, with seeding rates varying between 350,000 to 500,000 seeds per hectare depending on the sowing time. One of the key features of Executive is its comprehensive resistance to major rapeseed diseases, including phoma and turnip yellow mosaic virus (TYMV), as well as high resistance to lodging and pod cracking. The RLM7 gene contributes to increased disease resistance, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. The hybrid has high branching intensity and rapid autumn growth rates, ensuring quick regeneration and development of plants after sowing. Executive boasts high yield potential, reaching 55–65 centners per hectare, with oil content in seeds of 47–49%. The erucic acid content in seeds does not exceed 0.5%, and glucosinolate levels are within 17–18 μmol/g, meeting high-quality standards for oilseed crops. Due to its combination of high productivity, stress resistance, and superior seed quality, the Executive hybrid is a reliable choice for efficient and profitable winter rapeseed cultivation.
