Winter rapeseed Dobrobut

Practical insights on growing spring rapeseed «Dobrobut»

When choosing spring rapeseed from VNIS, you rely on predictable results. The «Dobrobut» variety is a population that demonstrates stability even in volatile spring conditions. With a plant height ranging from 120 to 160 cm, it allows for efficient harvesting using standard combine headers without significant field losses.

Plant Protection and Resilience

Disease management is a key priority for any agronomist. «Dobrobut» shows distinct resistance to phoma, downy mildew, and blackleg. The variety also effectively resists cruciferous flea beetles and alternaria blight. This natural resilience allows for optimized chemical protection costs, as the plant possesses its own robust defense system.

Efficiency and Yield Indicators

• Yield Potential: 30–40 centners per hectare. When agronomic standards are met, the variety fully realizes its productive capacity.
• Oil Quality: Oil content of 40–45% with a low erucic acid level ensures a high-quality product, which is valued by processing plants.
• Seeding Rate: 1,000 thousand seeds per hectare, which is optimal for creating a uniform stand and even ripening.

«Dobrobut» is the preferred choice for those who value the reliability of standard varieties. It does not require overly complex management, grows steadily, and delivers consistent performance across different farm environments.
