DK PLACID

DK Placid Rapeseed is a mid-season hybrid selection by Dekalb, featuring high yield potential up to 60 c/ha and high oil content. It is characterized by absolute resistance to clubroot, as well as high tolerance to phomopsis, verticillium wilt, and pod splitting. Due to its vigorous branching, the hybrid forms a stable yield even at sparse planting, providing high compensatory capacity and allowing cultivation at minimal planting densities.

The hybrid is well-adapted to various soil types and management systems, including those with different nitrogen levels. It exhibits drought and cold tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation across different climatic zones in Ukraine, such as Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. Recommended seeding rate is 400–500 thousand seeds per hectare, adjusted for moisture conditions and soil type.

High autumn development rates allow for significantly extended sowing periods, providing additional flexibility in agronomy. Resistance to pod splitting and seed shattering helps preserve yield and improve its quality.
