DK Plyska

Raps DK Placid is a medium-maturing winter rapeseed hybrid selected by Dekalb, with a high yield potential reaching up to 60 centners per hectare and high oil content. This hybrid is characterized by absolute resistance to clubroot and high tolerance to phomopsis and verticillium. Due to its intensive branching, the plant forms a stable yield even at sparse seeding, making it a reliable choice for various growing conditions.

The DK Placid hybrid is well-adapted to different soil types and tillage systems, allowing successful cultivation in various agroclimatic zones, including Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe of Ukraine. The recommended seeding rate varies from 400,000 to 500,000 seeds per hectare depending on sowing dates: early (August 1–10), optimal (August 10–20), and late (August 20–30). To improve winter hardiness and resistance to adverse conditions during early and optimal sowing, double application of morphoregulators is recommended.

DK Placid rapeseed exhibits high resistance to pod cracking, which helps preserve yield and improve seed quality. The stem height is 170–190 cm, ensuring good branching and plant development. The hybrid requires high nitrogen nutrition and optimal seeding density to achieve maximum productivity. Harvesting may be delayed by 5–7 days without loss of quality, providing flexibility in agronomic practices.
