Rapeseed AMAZZONITE

French Breeding for High Yields

The winter rapeseed hybrid "Amazzonit" from RAGT is the choice of farmers focused on consistent, high results in intensive farming. This French-bred hybrid is a direct response to modern market demands, prioritizing not only quantitative yield but also resilience against complex pathogens that threaten crops during active growth phases.

Biological Potential and Field Performance

"Amazzonit" is a simple linear hybrid exhibiting excellent adaptability to diverse climatic conditions. With proper agronomic management, the yield potential reaches 60–70 dt/ha, placing it among the leaders in its segment. Key development parameters include:

• Plant height ranges from 150 to 160 cm, facilitating optimal conditions for mechanical harvesting.
• Oil content in the seeds is between 45–50%, while the erucic acid level remains low, meeting strict quality standards for processing plants.

Protection and Resistance

One of the primary challenges in rapeseed cultivation is the disease pressure. "Amazzonit" possesses a high level of resistance to a complex of dangerous diseases. Its genetic resistance to white mold, combined with strong immunity against Alternaria, Phoma, and Verticillium, significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications. Agronomists note that a seeding rate of 400,000 to 500,000 seeds per hectare ensures optimal row closure and effective suppression of weeds during the early growth stages.
