Radish MALACHITE BOX

A Giant in the Garden: Why Choose «Malakhitovaya Shkatulka»

Finding a variety that surprises even seasoned gardeners with both size and color is rare. The «Malakhitovaya Shkatulka» (Malachite Casket) by Agrofirma Aelita breaks the mold of standard red radishes. It stands out with its vibrant yellow skin and massive roots, which can reach up to 600 grams.

Key Characteristics

• Size and Shape: Round-flat roots, reaching an impressive 400–600 grams.
• Color: A striking yellow, making it a standout in any vegetable garden.
• Breeding: Developed by a team of experts including V.G. Kachaynik, M.N. Gulkin, and S.V. Matyunina, and officially patented by Agrofirma Aelita.

Cultivation and Performance

This variety is a perfect choice for those looking for something unique. Its decorative appearance makes it highly sought after for niche markets or culinary displays. Unlike smaller, more common radishes, this variety demands a specific approach to cultivation. To achieve the stated weight, the plant requires loose, highly fertile soil and strictly consistent irrigation. Failure to provide sufficient water or light can result in deformation of the roots.

It is not a 'plant-and-forget' variety; it rewards those who invest time in proper soil preparation and moisture management. If you are looking for an exotic, high-yield variety that breaks away from traditional gardening norms, this is a premium choice for your collection.
