MALACHITE BOX

The Malachite Box is a mid-early, high-yield tomato variety distinguished by its original emerald-yellow fruit color and large size. The plants reach a height of 1.5-1.8 meters and require tying to a support, as well as growing on one or two stems for optimal development. The fruits have a flattened-round shape, weighing from 250 to 600 grams or more, have a thin skin, and a tender, juicy flesh with a pleasant melon-like aftertaste, a balanced flavor with notes of sweetness and a slight acidity.

The variety is suitable for growing both in open and protected ground. Sowing seeds for seedlings is recommended 50-60 days before planting in a permanent location at an optimal germination temperature of 23-25°C. When planting in the ground, plants are placed with a density of about three per square meter. Regular watering, feeding with complex mineral fertilizers, and the use of growth stimulants are necessary for successful growth and fruiting, which contributes to plant health and improved fruit set.

The fruits of the Malachite Box variety are suitable for fresh consumption and home cooking. Despite the thin skin, they possess high taste qualities, however, they are not intended for long-term storage. The variety fruits until frost, which allows obtaining a yield throughout the season.
