Radish CYLINDRA

Working with 'Tsilindra' Radish

When every day counts in the planting season, the maturity speed becomes the deciding factor. The 'Tsilindra' radish from Agrofirma Poisk is built for efficiency, hitting harvest maturity in just 18 to 20 days. This accelerated cycle allows for multiple rotations within a single season, maximizing greenhouse or field output.

Agronomy and Performance

In practice, this variety shows remarkable adaptability to varying day lengths, making it a go-to for both spring and autumn production. The distinct cylindrical shape is a major operational benefit; it simplifies harvesting and makes packing much more efficient compared to round varieties. The visual appeal—bright red skin with a crisp white tip—consistently meets market quality standards.

• Rapid Growth: Ready for market in under three weeks from emergence.
• Uniformity: Predictable cylindrical shape reduces sorting time and post-harvest losses.
• Versatility: High performance in both spring and autumn cropping cycles.

Managing the 'Tsilindra' crop is straightforward. The key to maintaining top quality is consistent soil moisture; this prevents skin splitting and keeps the texture firm. Because the crop matures uniformly, harvest labor is minimized. It is a no-nonsense, high-performing variety that delivers exactly what an agronomist needs: reliability, speed, and a product that sells itself on the shelf.
