Pumpkin variety Prikubanskaya is a mid-season universal variety distinguished by stable yield and high technological suitability for processing. The plant is semi-vining, with the main vine reaching 3-4 meters in length. The fruits have a cylindrical shape with slight thickening at the flowering end, featuring a smooth or weakly segmented surface. The rind is thin and leathery, colored orange-brown with a net-like pattern and spots of orange-brown shade. The pulp is creamy, tender, juicy, and sweet, with a thickness of 3-4 cm in the expanded part and firm near the stem. The taste is considered good, and the commercial qualities are preserved for up to 90 days after harvest, ensuring good storability and transportability.

The Prikubanskaya variety is unpretentious in care, making it attractive for cultivation in various conditions. The fruits have an elongated shape with thickening closer to the stem and a rich reddish pulp color. The fruit weight ranges from 1.5 to 5 kg, corresponding to an average size. Thanks to the thin rind and juicy pulp, pumpkin is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.

The variety is moderately resistant to powdery mildew, contributing to a stable harvest. Prikubanskaya pumpkin was bred by Krasnodar breeders and has been popular since 1998 due to a combination of good taste, transportability, and long storage duration.
