The LUBIMICA pumpkin variety is a late-maturing vegetable with a maturation period of about 110-130 days, depending on growing conditions. The plant is sprawling and branched, requiring ample space in the bed—1.5 to 2 square meters per plant. The fruits are of medium size and have a spherical or flat-round shape. The skin is smooth, rich orange or dark green with light green stripes; fruit mass reaches 2-5 kg. The flesh is bright yellow, dense, juicy and aromatic, with a thin sweet taste. This pumpkin variety is distinguished by its high content of useful substances: carotene, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, as well as vitamins C, A, B1 and B2. Due to its low caloric content and rich vitamin composition, LUBIMICA pumpkin is ideal for diet and baby food. It is widely used in home cooking, suitable for fresh consumption as well as for canning, pickling and processing into juices. The fruits store well, allowing them to be used for a long time after harvest. For successful cultivation of this variety, it is recommended to choose sunny, wind-protected areas with moist and fertile soil, preferably with neutral or slightly acidic reaction (pH 6-7). The plant needs regular watering due to its shallow root system and requires fertilization to ensure a high yield. Good predecessors for planting are potatoes, legumes and cabbage. Seed sowing is done in mid-May to early June, and harvest takes place in August-September.
