ELIANA

ELIANA F1 is a new early hybrid of butternut squash, developed for professional and farmer cultivation in open ground. The plant is characterized by a compact bush with very short internodes, which allows forming a larger number of fruits on the same area. The maturation period is 80–90 days from germination, making the variety one of the earliest among butternut squashes. The hybrid is resistant to main diseases and withstands short-term frosts well, which increases its reliability under various climatic conditions. ELIANA fruits have a uniform pear-shaped form without ribs, with mustard-golden skin and bright orange flesh. The average fruit weight is from 1.5 to 2 kg, which makes them convenient for portioned use. The flesh quickly acquires a saturated color and has excellent taste qualities, which makes this hybrid in demand both for fresh consumption and for processing into soups, purees, casseroles, and baby food. The hybrid is well suited for container storage and can maintain its qualities for up to 6 months under proper conditions. Thanks to good storability and transportability, ELIANA fruits easily withstand long-term transportation, which makes them attractive for the fresh produce market. Regular watering and sunny location of the plot contribute to maximum yield and fruit quality.
