Wheat variety Invictus is a medium-early spring wheat variety with high yield potential and excellent adaptability to various climatic conditions. Plants are characterized by low stature, height from 80 to 110 cm, and vigorous tillering, ensuring uniform productive tiller density. The variety is distinguished by high drought and cold resistance, allowing successful cultivation in steppe, forest-steppe, and Polissia regions. The vegetation period is approximately 106 days, with early ear formation and high spikelet density, promoting a large number of grains per ear. Invictus exhibits high resistance to several diseases, including rust, septoria, powdery mildew, fusarium, and root rots, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses. The variety is also resistant to lodging, shattering, and stem breakage, facilitating harvesting and improving grain quality. Due to its adaptability to soils and good response to fertilizer application, wheat Invictus demonstrates stable performance whether sown early or late, up to mid-April. On high fertility soils, growth regulators are recommended for optimal plant development. The grain of variety Invictus has high protein content (12.5% to 15.7%) and gluten (up to 31%), making it valuable for producing high-quality flour. The 1000-seed mass varies between 41–44 g, the grain is white, and the ear is red. The recommended sowing rate is approximately 4.5 million seeds per hectare. For seed storage, optimal conditions are air temperature +7–10°C and humidity not exceeding 10%. Seeds are packaged in 1000 kg bags. The variety was developed by the V.Ya. Yuryev Institute of NAAN and is intended for obtaining high-quality yields in various agroclimatic zones.
