LG Magirus

LG Magirus is winter wheat of European selection by the producer Limagrain, intended for sowing in the Central-Western regions of Ukraine. This medium-late, adaptable variety is characterized by high thousand-grain weight and glumeless ear type, which contributes to good yield and ease of processing. Seeds are supplied in 50 kg bags, convenient for farmers.

Quality characteristics of LG Magirus include very high protein content and high gluten content, making the grain valuable for the food industry. Agronomic traits of the variety are also impressive: cold resistance and lodging resistance are rated at 8 points, ear closure — 7 points, and ear size is above average. The variety has medium resistance to drought and diseases, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions.

The yield potential of LG Magirus ranges from 9 to 12 tons per hectare, making it a profitable choice for farmers focused on high productivity. The variety is recommended for cultivation in Ukrainian regions such as Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipro, Donetsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Poltava, Sumy, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv. Winter wheat LG Magirus is suitable for use in the food industry, as well as in animal husbandry and other agricultural sectors.
