Kernel — red, medium size. 1000-seed mass — 42.6 g. The variety belongs to the mid-early maturity group. It is an intensive type, requiring early sowing. The optimal sowing time is March. Can be used for sowing during «February windows». Late sowing (second half of April) leads to reduced yield. Sowing rate — 4.5–5.0 million seeds per hectare of germinated seeds. On poor soils or with late sowing, the rate should be — 5.5–6.0 million seeds per hectare of germinated seeds. Best preceding crops are legumes, perennial grasses, and most field crops, but can also be sown after cereal crops. Resistance to lodging — medium. Does not shatter. The variety is drought-resistant. Shows moderate resistance to diseases, but under adverse weather conditions, full fungicide protection and application of plant growth regulators (at the end of tillering stage, during adequate moisture phase) is recommended.
