Potato RADONEZHSKY

Stable yields from Vsevolozhsk breeders

The 'Radonezhsky' potato variety is the result of meticulous breeding work conducted by the Vsevolozhsk Breeding Station. This mid-season table variety has secured its place in the market segment focused on stability and high resistance to pathogens typical of challenging climatic conditions.

Agronomic Profile

The growing season for this variety is 75–85 days, allowing farmers to plan harvesting within an optimal timeframe, minimizing risks associated with wet autumn weather. 'Radonezhsky' exhibits excellent tuber marketability, featuring smooth red skin and creamy flesh. The weight of an individual tuber ranges from 50 to 130 grams with medium eye depth, making it convenient for initial processing and culinary use.

Protection Potential

A key advantage of this variety is its genetically fixed resistance to dangerous diseases. The breeding process focused on maximum survival in high-risk zones; therefore, 'Radonezhsky' effectively resists:

• Potato Wart;
• Late Blight;
• Golden Potato Cyst Nematode.

This makes the variety attractive to producers looking to reduce pesticide application and optimize crop protection costs. Under professional cultivation conditions, this variety confirms its reputation as a reliable workhorse for the table potato sector.
