MAS 81K

Sunflower MAS 81K is an early-maturing hybrid with classic cultivation technology, designed for regions with low sums of active temperatures. This hybrid is characterized by high adaptability to non-standard production conditions and is suitable for cultivation in areas such as the Polesie, forest-steppe, and northern steppe. MAS 81K has a low stature, which facilitates harvest operations and contributes to time savings.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to lodging, drought, as well as diseases such as downy mildew (race E), false powdery mildew (RM9), fomopsis, and sclerotinia. Early flowering and semi-upright flower head shape with a slightly convex profile provide optimal conditions for yield formation. Oil content in seeds ranges from 49 to 52%, and thousand-seed weight varies between 52-61 grams.

Recommended planting rate depends on soil moisture level: 50-55 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 60-65 thousand under adequate moisture. Seeds are supplied in packages of 150,000 units, sufficient for sowing on an area of 2.2-2.5 hectares. Seed treatment is carried out using AGROSTART and PONCHO D150, which enhances resistance and improves germination. Potential yield of the hybrid reaches 59.4 centners per hectare, while actual yield at 8.5% moisture content amounts to approximately 3.76 tons per hectare.
