MAS 908HOCP

Sunflower MAS 908HOCP is a high-oleic hybrid of the new generation, developed using Clearfield Plus technology, which provides effective control over ragweed and the most damaging weeds. This mid-season hybrid is characterized by high yield and adaptability, allowing successful cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Polesie, Forest-Steppe, and Northern Steppe. Seeds are supplied in packages of 150,000 units, sufficient for sowing on areas from 2.2 to 2.5 hectares, with a recommended seeding rate of 50,000 to 65,000 plants per hectare depending on soil moisture.

MAS 908HOCP is characterized by high resistance to ragweed (race E) and a broad spectrum of diseases, including frogeye, verticillium, basket and stem sclerotinia, rust, and false powdery mildew (RM9). The hybrid has an excellent phytosanitary profile, which contributes to maintaining crop health and stable yields. High drought tolerance and lodging resistance make this sunflower a reliable choice for farmers seeking maximum productivity under challenging conditions.

Morphologically, MAS 908HOCP plants have high stature, slightly convex and inclined heads, which promote optimal development and harvest. Oil content in seeds ranges from 49% to 53%, with oleic acid levels reaching 84–89%, enhancing the quality and value of the product. Thousand-seed mass is 55–65 grams. Seed treatment includes the use of Maxim 025FS, biostimulants, and Poncho, ensuring good early growth and protection for plants during early development.
