Sunflower MAS 92CP is a mid-season hybrid of linoleic type, developed using Clearfield Plus technology, providing effective control over foxtail and weeds. The plant's vegetative period ranges from 105 to 118 days, depending on growing conditions. Plants are tall with a massive root system and well-leafed. The sunflower head is convex and downward-facing, which promotes optimal development and harvest. The 1000-seed weight varies from 53 to 59 grams, oil content reaches 49-52%, and protein content is approximately 16.2-17%.
Hybrid MAS 92CP exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including fusarium, verticillium, head and stem sclerotinia, rust, false powdery mildew (RM9), and five strains of foxtail (A-E). Due to its stress tolerance and adaptability, sunflower demonstrates stable high yields under various soil-climate conditions, especially in forest-steppe and steppe zones. Under optimal conditions, yield reaches 29.6–31.9 centners per hectare, making MAS 92CP a leader among Clearfield Plus hybrids.
Recommended seeding rate depends on soil moisture: 50-55 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 58-65 thousand seeds per hectare under adequate moisture. Sunflower MAS 92CP positively responds to fertile soils and features high initial growth energy, lodging resistance, and drought tolerance. From one hectare, you can obtain 1480 to 1790 kg of oil, confirming the economic efficiency of this hybrid for agricultural production.
