Description INSUN 130
The INSUN 130 sunflower hybrid is an early-maturing variety designed for conventional cultivation methods, as well as suitable for extensive and medium-intensive production systems. It features high yield potential and stability under various climatic conditions, confirmed by trials across different regions of Ukraine, where yields ranged from 26 to 46.6 ц/ha. The hybrid successfully adapts to steppe and forest-steppe zones, demonstrating high drought and moisture deficiency tolerance, making it an optimal choice for cultivation under stressful conditions with high solar energy and low moisture levels.

INSUN 130 exhibits comprehensive resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, verticillium, phomopsis, rust, sooty mold, and sclerotinia. Thanks to the presence of PL6 and PL9 genes, the hybrid effectively resists A to G strains of downy mildew and is not prone to lodging, ensuring crop preservation and easier harvest. Early flowering and enhanced development in early vegetative stages promote rapid growth and yield formation, while plant height exceeds average values, further enhancing productivity.

INSUN 130 seeds are characterized by high oil content, increasing their economic value. The recommended seeding rate depends on soil moisture levels: under insufficient moisture, 50-55 thousand seeds/ha are optimal, while under adequate moisture, 60-65 thousand/ha is recommended. This approach allows maximum utilization of the hybrid’s potential and ensures stable high yields even under challenging agroclimatic conditions.
