Kamenyar

The Kamenyar sunflower hybrid is a three-line mid-season variety with a vegetation period of 110-115 days. Plants reach a height of 160 to 190 cm, and the flower head diameter is 20-24 cm. This hybrid is characterized by high seed oil content, reaching 50-51%, making it a high-oil variety intended for producing high-quality oil.

Kamenyar exhibits high resistance to a wide range of diseases, including downy mildew, false powdery mildew, gray and white mold, and also shows high tolerance to aphids. Disease resistance is rated at 8-9 points, ensuring reliable plant protection and stable yields. The hybrid responds well to mineral fertilizer application and is suitable for intensive cultivation technologies.

Recommended for cultivation in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones of Ukraine, Kamenyar demonstrates a yield potential of up to 3.7 tons per hectare, with average yields ranging from 2.65 to 2.75 tons. The 1000-seed weight is 50-55 grams, indicating large seeds. Thanks to its ecological adaptability and technological efficiency, this hybrid is a reliable choice for obtaining high-quality sunflower oil in the specified regions.
