INSUN 366 CLP

The INSUN 366 CLP hybrid sunflower is a mid-season variety developed using Clearfield Plus technology, providing resistance to herbicides and effective weed control. It exhibits high resistance to races A-G of downy mildew and false powdery mildew due to the presence of the PL6 gene, significantly enhancing cultivation reliability under various climatic conditions. Recommended sowing rates vary depending on soil moisture: 47–52 thousand seeds per hectare under low moisture conditions and 55–60 thousand under adequate moisture, promoting optimal plant development and maximizing yield.

The hybrid demonstrates high adaptability and resistance to several diseases, including verticillium wilt, fusarium, rust, anthracnose, and sclerotinia. It does not tend to lodging, simplifying crop management and harvest. High oil content in seeds and enhanced early vegetative development make this variety attractive for cultivation under stressful conditions, such as low moisture and high solar activity. Due to these qualities, INSUN 366 CLP is successfully used in various regions, including steppe, forest-steppe, and meadow areas.

The hybrid is suitable for conventional cultivation techniques and can also be used in extensive and medium-intensive production systems. It demonstrates stable and high yields, confirmed by trials across different regions of Ukraine, where yields ranged from 26 to 46.6 centners per hectare.
