Kalluga

Kalluga sunflower is a high-yielding ultra-early hybrid with a short vegetation period, enabling harvest at optimal times. It features high drought resistance and resistance to several diseases, including false powdery mildew, frogepsis, white and gray rot, as well as to 7 races of downy mildew (A-G). Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid ensures stable and reliable cultivation even under challenging climatic conditions.

Kalluga seeds have a high oil content — from 50 to 53% — making this sunflower especially valuable for oil production. The thousand-seed weight is 60-65 grams, which contributes to good germination and uniform plant development. The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to lodging and shattering, facilitating harvest and reducing yield losses.

To achieve maximum yield potential, which can reach up to 53 centners per hectare, intensive cultivation technologies are recommended, including deep soil tillage and balanced NPK fertilization. The optimal planting density varies by region: in the steppe zone — 45-50 thousand plants per hectare, in the forest-steppe — 50-52 thousand, and in the Polissia region — 49-53 thousand. Seeds are produced in Ukraine and are intended for planting under EuroLighting, ensuring their high quality and adaptation to modern agronomic technologies.
