Inkasun IR sunflower is a high-yielding hybrid with a vegetation period of about 120 days, belonging to the linoleic type. It is characterized by unusually high oil content in seeds — from 50 to 52%, significantly exceeding average values. Plants reach a height of 160-170 cm, have a semi-convex head shape with a diameter of 20-22 cm and downward tilt, and the thousand-seed weight is 56-58 g. The hybrid's yield potential is 5.0-5.5 t/ha, making it attractive for cultivation in various regions.

Inkasun IR hybrid exhibits high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases and stress factors. It is genetically resistant to false powdery mildew, shows high tolerance to fusarium and fusarium wilt, and is resistant to anthracnose, sclerotinia, and verticillium. Additionally, the plant is not prone to lodging and demonstrates low sensitivity to parasitic plants, effectively combating ragweed from A to E. Such resistance ensures stable yields even under adverse conditions.

The cultivation technology for this hybrid involves the use of imidazolinone herbicides (Clearfield), which enables effective weed control and increased productivity. The recommended sowing rate varies depending on soil moisture: 35-40 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 50-55 thousand seeds per hectare under adequate moisture. The hybrid is suitable for conventional, extensive, and medium-intensity production technologies, successfully grown in various climatic zones, including eastern, central, and southern regions, demonstrating high yield and adaptability to stressful conditions.
