Description Fantasol
Sunflower Fortasol is a medium-early oilseed hybrid specially developed for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe regions of Ukraine. It has a vegetation period of about 110 days and belongs to the linoleic type of hybrids. Plant height reaches approximately 170 cm, and the flower head diameter is 22-24 cm with a downward tilt, which promotes optimal growth and harvest.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to drought and diseases, including downy mildew races A-G, ensuring stable yield under challenging climatic conditions. The cultivation technology involves the use of herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl, such as Granstar and Express, to which Fortasol shows resistance. The recommended sowing rate varies depending on soil moisture: 55-60 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 60-65 thousand under adequate moisture.

Oil content in the seeds ranges from 48% to 51%, making this hybrid attractive for the oilseed industry. The package contains 150,000 seeds, and storage conditions require a temperature of +7-10°C and humidity not exceeding 7%. Thanks to its excellent early growth and adaptability to moderately-extensive conditions, Fortasol is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality sunflower yields.
