Sunflower hybrid Bravo is a medium-early, intensive hybrid intended for high-tech cultivation. It features a vegetation period of approximately 100-110 days, average flowering time, and plant height of 150-160 cm without branching. Seeds are large and deep, with a 1000-seed mass of about 53 g, and leaves are green with slight blistering. The hybrid exhibits good uniformity and simultaneous maturity, facilitating harvest.
Bravo has high resistance to the herbicide Euro-Lightning and is fully compatible with the Clearfield system, enabling effective weed control. Additionally, it is resistant to five strains of downy mildew (ABCD E), significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Central Black Earth, North Caucasus, Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, West Siberian regions, as well as the Krasnodar Krai and southern areas with limited water availability.
Bravo's yield potential reaches over 45 centners/ha, with oil content in seeds around 45-50%. The hybrid demonstrates moderate drought tolerance and high resistance to several diseases, including white and gray rot, anthracnose, fomopsis, fomosis, alternaria, septoria, powdery mildew, and rust. Seeds are treated with a fungicidal seed treatment for additional protection. Sowing rates are adjusted according to regional moisture levels, allowing optimization of yield and product quality.
