Origin — seedling of open pollination of the Shershnevskaya variety. Institution-creator — Southern Ural Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Potato Growing. Author K.K. Mullaev. Introduced into the State Register in 2004 for the Ural region.
Tree medium-sized, with a spreading crown of medium density and foliage. Branch: bark color on the sunlit side dark brown. Young shoot: weak anthocyanin coloration at the tip (shoot 10-15 cm long). One-year-old shoot: medium number of tubercles, protruding, tubercle under vegetative bud small, branching strong. Bud (vegetative and generative): medium, pressed. Leaf blade round, medium, intensity of green coloration on upper side medium, base obtuse. Tip shape short-pointed, tip angle acute. Margin serrated, waviness weak. Petiole short, thin, anthocyanin coloration on upper and lower sides medium. Predominant number of glands — one, gland size medium. Flower medium, stigma above anthers. Petals round, medium close. Calyx cup-shaped. Pedicel very short. Flowering and fruiting type — predominantly on shortened shoots (bouquet branches and spurs).
Fruit weighing 23-24 g, round, suture absent, indentation at the pedicel base medium, tip indented, tip absent. Surface smooth, main skin color red. Anthocyanin coloration of skin medium intensity, medium size, distribution — isolated spots. Flesh yellow, fibrous texture, medium density. Stone detachment from flesh medium. Stone round, medium weight, constitutes 1.3% of flesh, color (fresh) dark brown, tip shape narrowly rounded, dorsal suture narrowly open, ventral suture medium, central ridge expressiveness medium, lateral ridges weakly noticeable.
Fruit appearance excellent (5.0 points). Flesh sugar content high, acidity low. Flesh aroma medium. Taste rating — excellent (4.5 points). Pedicel detachment dry. Transportability good. Horticultural use — universal variety. Technological use — for compote, jam. Dry matter content low (17.0%), sugars — 9.07%, ascorbic acid — low (2.4 mg/100g).
Flowering period medium. Ripening period late. Age of fruiting late (on 4th year). Variety partially self-fertile. Fruit production good, not sharply periodic. Yield high. Damage to shoots and branches from winter frosts weak (1-2 points). Damage to flower buds from winter frosts and spring frosts present. Drought resistance medium. Fungal diseases: clasterosporiosis, moniliosis, verticillium, infectious wilting, gnomoniоз, leaf curl, shank, necrotic and chlorotic spots — absence or occasional. Pests: hairy slug, caterpillar, winter budworm, fruit moth, California scale, false scale, fruit moth, American white butterfly — damage absent or very weak.
Advantages of the variety: high resistance to clasterosporiosis and fruit moth. Flowers and ovaries resistant to short-term spring frosts. Good taste of fruits and processed products.
