This variety was obtained by crossing Harbin Early x Pacific in the Far Eastern Research Institute of Agriculture. Authors: A.A. Mikhaylichenko, E.F. Koroleva, G.T. Kazymin. Under state variety testing since 1991.
Medium-sized tree. Crown is bushy and slightly raised. Bark on trunk and main branches is smooth and brown. Shoots are medium, straight, brown. Fruit buds are brown, pointed, tightly attached to shoots. Leaves are medium, inversely egg-shaped, short-pointed, dark green, smooth, shiny. Leaf blade is concave and curved upward. Leaf apex is sharply pointed, base is pointed. Leaf margin is finely toothed. Petiole is medium, green. Flowers are very small, white. Petals are round, narrowly open. Stigma is positioned above stamens. Calyx is narrow-bowl-shaped. Pedicel is short (7 mm). Predominant placement of fruiting buds is on flower clusters.
Fruits are medium (average weight 30 g, maximum 36 g), round. Base of fruit has an indentation. Pit is medium. Ventral suture is small and barely noticeable. Fruit stalk is short, medium thickness, detaches easily from branch, attachment to pit is loose. Fruit color is yellow. Skin is delicate, hairless, without waxy coating, difficult to peel off. Flesh is yellow, tender. Inner cavity color is uniform with flesh. Juice is colorless, slightly sour-sweet with a hint of spice. Dry matter content — 17.3%, sugars — 10.5%, acids — 1.3%, ascorbic acid — 2.5 mg/100g. Taste rating of fresh fruits — 4.5 points. Appearance attractiveness — 4.5 points. Fruits ripen on August 10. Flowering occurs on May 17. Pit is small (average weight 0.8 g), egg-shaped, located in pit, detaches easily from flesh.
Cross-pollinating. Pollinators are regional varieties. Enters fruiting stage on 3rd-4th year after grafting. Yield per tree is 6–16 kg. Dessert variety. Suitable for fresh consumption and processing. Transportability is medium. Winter hardiness of trees is relatively high (degree of frost damage to annual shoots 0.5–1.5 points). Weakly affected by clasterosporiosis and moderately affected by moniliosis and polystigma. Strongly affected by fruitworms.
Advantages: high fruit quality and relative resistance to major diseases.
Disadvantages: tall trees, making harvesting difficult; significant fruitworm infestation.
