Tree medium-sized, 3-3.5 m. Crown bushy, medium density, medium foliage. Shoots brown. Pubescence absent. Bud small, 21 mm, weakly inclined relative to the shoot. Leaf reverse-oval in shape, average — 36 cm², dark green, medium thickness. Leaf surface glossy. Pubescence on top absent, underside weak. Toothed margin crenate. Petiole 12 mm long. Number of glands 2-3. Petals touching, stamens 20, stigma at the same level as stamens. Pubescence of ovary absent. Calyx bowl-shaped. Pedicel 12 mm, pubescence absent.
Fruit broad-oval in shape, mass 25-30 g. Main color yellow, covering dark red, evenly distributed and covers more than 50% of fruit surface. Fruit pubescence absent, waxy coating medium. Fruit apex elongated, base rounded, calyx medium depth. Abdominal suture small, weakly developed. Flesh yellow, fibrous, medium density, juicy. Peduncle 10 mm. Stone small, round-elliptical, mass 0.64 g, constitutes 2.6% of fruit flesh.
Fruits attractive cherry-like, rated 4.7 points. Fruit aroma medium. Taste sour-sweet, good, tasting score for fresh fruits 4.4 points. Fruits contain dry soluble solids — 14.9%, sugars — 9.2%, acids — 1.66%, ascorbic acid — 6.0 mg/100g, catechins — 437 mg/100g. Variety for table and technical purposes. Dry detachment of peduncle from fruit. Transportable.
Flowering medium-late, from May 18 to 26. Fruit ripening from August 15 to 25. Enters fruiting from the fourth year (rooted plants). Longevity high, over 30 years, with timely rejuvenating pruning. Flowering and fruiting on shortened and growth shoots. Annual, high fruiting. Yield per tree 20-40 kg, maximum — 60 kg. Average yield over 1996-2005 was 15.7 t/ha with planting scheme 3 x 4 m.
High winter hardiness of wood and fruit buds. Medium drought resistance. No disease damage observed. In some years, damage from pear aphid and sawfly noted. Suitable for intensive orchards.
Advantages of variety: winter hardiness, annual high fruiting, good fruit quality.
Disadvantages of variety: uneven ripening, damage from aphids.
