Selected from seedlings of the Michurin variety Renklo, developed by the Nizhny Novgorod State Agricultural Academy. Author: I.P. Elyseev. Undergoing state variety testing since 1988.
Trees are fast-growing with a slightly raised, medium-density crown. Branch breakage may occur under heavy fruiting, but the crown quickly recovers.
Fruits weigh 18-20 g, egg-shaped, with a slightly elongated, moderately pointed apex and broad indentation. The skin is smooth and turns yellow upon ripening. The covering color is yellow-red, with speckles and spots throughout the fruit. Flesh is pale yellow-white, tender, juicy, with colorless juice, slightly acidic-sweet. Stone separates easily from flesh.
Fruits ripen at the end of August, beginning of September. Suitable for fresh consumption and all types of processing.
Self-fertile variety, does not require pollinators, produces fruit annually and abundantly, average yield 35-40 kg.
Early-bearing variety, begins fruiting in the third year after planting. Not uncommon for seedlings in nurseries to flower and fruit abundantly.
