Rootstock "IS 4‑6" is a medium-sized tree with an upright canopy and a compact, dense leaf cover. Bushes reach a height of about 3.5 m, and the canopy diameter is up to 2.5 m, ensuring good wind resistance and ease of care. Seedlings on this rootstock begin fruiting by the 3rd year after planting, and earlier if the root system develops well. This accelerates the accumulation of commercial yield and allows for quickly achieving a high fruit output. The tree is resistant to diseases and withstands low temperatures (up to -28…-30 °C without external damage), making it suitable for a wide range of climatic conditions.
