Vityaz is an original variety of phlox developed by E.A. Konstantinova in 1988. The bushes reach a height of 70 to 80 cm and have a compact structure with strong, densely foliated stems, making them resistant to adverse weather conditions.
Vityaz flowers are large – diameter of about 3.5–3.7 cm. They have a white shade with a slight bluish tone, and the buds are colored bright blue. Inflorescences are dense and oval-conical in shape, creating an impressive look in both single plants and group plantings.
The variety is distinguished by a strong captivating aroma, is resistant to diseases and pests, and also withstands rain and high air temperatures well. Thanks to its high winter hardiness, Vityaz is perfect for gardens with snowy weather, grows fast and is easy to propagate, making it a universal choice for decorative compositions.
