Phlox "Bila Vezha" is a species of grassy phlox with white flowers adorned with crimson streaks. The plant reaches a height of 30 to 130 cm and forms compact bushes, in which numerous terminal flowers (umbels) are gathered. Bunches of five petals form a long narrow tube 2–2.5 cm long.
The leaves of phlox "Bila Vezha" have an oval-lanceolate shape, 9 to 16 cm long and 3–6 cm wide. They are arranged opposite to each other, sometimes alternating, which gives the bush a neat structure. The white flower with crimson streaks makes the plant especially attractive in summer gardens.
For growing phlox requires an open sunny place and light, well-drained soil. The plant prefers moderate moisture: sufficient watering in the spring period and nitrogenous fertilizers promote growth, while potassium-phosphorus ones stimulate bud formation and flowering. Phlox "Bila Vezha" is resistant to diseases with proper care and does not require covering in winter. It is perfect for creating decorative compositions and landscape greening, due to its ease of cultivation and bright white color with colorful accents.
