Phlox AUTUMN BOUQUET

Resilience in Autumn Landscaping

The «Autumn Bouquet» (Osenny Buket) phlox, developed by the Federal Research Center for Horticulture, is a perennial variety designed for reliability and low-maintenance gardening. One of the main challenges in phlox cultivation is powdery mildew, yet this variety proves its robustness by exhibiting natural resistance. For a landscape manager, this means significantly reduced labor and chemical costs related to disease management.

Performance and Maintenance

• Growth Type: Perennial panicle phlox.
• Application: Ideal for flower beds and landscape borders.
• Key Benefit: High resistance to powdery mildew.

In terms of practical maintenance, this phlox is highly manageable. Its growth habit ensures stable stems, which maintain an upright position throughout the season without the need for support systems or staking. Maintenance routines are standard: irrigation during dry spells and deadheading to sustain the aesthetic quality of the panicles. The plant is not overly demanding of soil quality, allowing for efficient nutrient management.

For those looking for a predictable, high-performance perennial, this variety offers an excellent balance between aesthetics and durability. It remains healthy and vibrant through the late season, effectively serving its purpose in professional or residential landscaping with minimal intervention required.
