GOLDEN WASP

The 'Golden Wasp' pepper variety is a hot, yellow-fruited type suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. The plant has a tall, compact form, which facilitates care and harvest. Fruits are conical, 8-10 cm long and 2-2.5 cm in diameter, with a wall thickness of about 2 mm. Immature fruits are light green, turning to a rich golden-yellow upon ripening, making them visually appealing and convenient for culinary use.

This variety ripens early, approximately 100-110 days after germination, allowing for a quick harvest. 'Golden Wasp' is ideal for use as a spice for meat and vegetable dishes, as well as adding heat to pickled salads. Capsaicin, present in the fruits, stimulates appetite and improves digestion when consumed in moderation, and also has a strengthening effect on the body.

For cultivation, seedlings should be sown at the end of February, followed by pinching in the cotyledon stage. Transplanting seedlings into the ground should occur at the end of May. During growth, it is important to prune the plant by removing all side shoots and leaves up to the first fork, promoting better development of main fruits. The optimal planting scheme is 30x40 cm, ensuring sufficient space for growth and fruiting.
