Description BITTER CHOCOLATE PEPPER
Bitter Chocolate Pepper is a late-maturing variety of one of the world's spiciest peppers, belonging to the habanero type. For full fruit ripening, it requires 75 to 90 days. Plants reach a height of 60–90 centimeters and have straight stems. The fruits are small, about 3–5 centimeters long, with a characteristic conical or cube-shaped form, slightly wrinkled and ribbed. In technical maturity, they are green, but in biological maturity, they turn into a rich chocolate or dark brown color. The fruit walls are thin, and the weight is approximately 10–15 grams.

This variety is distinguished by high yield and heat tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation in open ground, greenhouse plastic tunnels, balconies, and windowsills. Bitter Chocolate Pepper has a unique exotic flavor with fruity and smoky notes, making it a popular ingredient in the preparation of spicy sauces such as Mole and Salsa. Its aroma and spiciness give dishes an unmistakable character.

The heat level of this pepper ranges from 100,000 to 500,000 Scoville units, significantly exceeding the heat of regular jalapeño peppers and making it one of the spiciest varieties in the world. Due to its intense heat and distinctive flavor, Bitter Chocolate Pepper is widely used in culinary applications to create spicy seasonings, powders, and sauces capable of completely transforming the taste of dishes.
