Description Arsenal
The pepper variety Arsenal is a medium-early, high-yielding variety intended for cultivation in open ground and plastic greenhouses. The maturation period ranges from 125 to 135 days. The plant is semi-spreading, reaching a height of 40 to 75 cm. The fruits are conical in shape with a smooth surface; they are light green in technical ripeness and deep red in biological ripeness. The fruit wall thickness varies from 4 to 5.5 mm, and the weight of one fruit is 100-120 g. The yield reaches 30-50 tons per hectare. The variety is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus, alternaria, and fusarium wilt, ensuring stable and reliable harvests.

Cultivation of the Arsenal pepper begins with sowing seeds at the end of February. For sowing, use peat pots or seedling trays; seeds are pre-soaked in warm water and sown to a depth of no more than 5 mm. For 8-14 days, maintain a temperature of 25-28 degrees until the first seedlings emerge. Seedlings are transplanted to rows with a spacing of 30-40 cm between plants, placing 4-5 plants per square meter. During the season, standard agronomic practices are carried out, including up to four fertilizations and regular watering with settled water at a rate of 8-10 liters per square meter. If necessary, plants are pruned, and biological and folk remedies are used to protect against pests.

The Arsenal pepper is recommended for fresh consumption and is also ideal for home cooking and canning due to its excellent flavor. Its fruits have an attractive appearance and firm flesh, making the variety versatile and popular among gardeners and vegetable enthusiasts.
