Cabbage Snegurochka

Cauliflower 'Snegurochka': German Quality for Long-Term Storage

In the professional vegetable farming market, the 'Snegurochka' variety occupies a specialized niche, aimed at growers who plan for produce sales beyond the harvest season and into the winter months. Developed with the expertise of German breeders from Satimex Quedlinburg and brought to market by Ooo Agroplaneta, this hybrid addresses the industry demand for cauliflower capable of maintaining its marketability after 6–8 months of storage.

Agronomic Potential and Specifications

The core strength of 'Snegurochka' lies in its growth cycle. Using the seedling method, it requires 90–100 days to reach technical maturity. The curd forms as a dense, round-flat head, which significantly simplifies logistics and packaging. With proper cultivation management, head weight typically ranges from 1.0 to 2.0 kg, serving as an optimal standard for both wholesale and retail sectors.

• Origins and Breeding: The German breeding school of Satimex Quedlinburg ensures consistent traits, while Ooo Agroplaneta’s production oversight guarantees that the seed stock is well-adapted to intensive farming conditions.
• Storage Capacity: Unlike early-season summer varieties, 'Snegurochka' is bred for high storability. Under appropriate temperature and humidity controls, the cauliflower retains its structural density and color for up to 8 months.
• Harvesting Advantages: The round-flat shape of the curd minimizes mechanical damage during harvest—a critical factor for long-term storage success.

This variety is highly sought after by agricultural enterprises focusing on extended supply cycles. By choosing 'Snegurochka' from Ooo Agroplaneta, producers secure predictable yields, premium visual quality, and reliable market demand even in the off-season.
